Should I stay at home or go to work? This is something few mothers ask because it is rare that we really have the choice. However, with a kid, I don't shy away from working on a classic schedule, and the Békéscsaba location is small.

We want to work. But not like old, and probably not the same. Not from morning till night, not tired, and not even gossiping at work. Some people would like to spend all their time with their children in the early years, and rush back to work a couple of months after childbirth, and there are those who try to find the balance between these two things.
There are also some who do not have a choice, for example because their marriages broke down and were left alone with the baby. Whichever group you belong to, sooner or later we all look for jobs, but at least we're job-seeking mothers. We have no easy business, so many.

While it is important that women consider personal and material independence to be important, they are constrained by traditional gender roles. Experts also suggest, and this is confirmed by statistics, that the situation of Hungarian women In Europe, it is one of the few rusts.
How can this be? - we might ask, because during the post-war period, women seemed to be overtaken by millennial customary work. However, our grandmothers, who had just been released from the kitchen, were surprised by the turn of the seventies. Old fashion is back in fashion: women are best off leaving the labor market for years after having children.
This was suggested by the environmental and family considerations of men's family and social position, but it was also considered by the state to follow. In our mothers' time, the concept of a woman living alone for her family was supported by the maternity benefit system, which was created for the purpose of full employment. Nowadays, the motherhood, the patronage, and the introduction of the grandparent, reinforce this order.
However, for a couple of decades, the way it worked has become less and less viable in Hungary after the transition. Often, even a family with a mother who would love to stay with her child for years of childbearing could not maintain the single-income family model. However, the number of jobs compatible with family life is limited.

Wisdom can be a good choice anyway


Domestic inns are scarce, grandmothers are generally far from their grandchildren, and women's labor is still much cheaper than men's. And perhaps there is no woman in this country who has a job who hasn't faced the (and not legal) request for a job interview: do you have a child? We need to thoroughly unblock the white when we go to a job search.
If we look around the world, we can see what more and more professionals and decision-makers in Hungary are saying: well-established forms of employment do not correspond to much of the work. Such a significant part is the group of working mothers. In the mother-like form of employment, there are few in our opinion. Let's see what we can do!

It is essential to have a serious technical background, computer and internet access, which most often has to be provided by the workforce. The disadvantage of teleworking is that there is no difference between privacy and work, which can sometimes be difficult.
Also remember that telecommuting doesn't leave home, and the lack of human relationships can make a big part of your time as much as a pregnant mother. On the other hand, with the good times of farming, we live a life of a corporate life for moms who really do have such a status.
The world of teleworking is growing worldwide - but unfortunately this form is still not popular with domestic workers. However, it is always worthwhile to watch.

Today, we are dealing with this form of employment very few at home. In Hungary, 9.3% of employees work part-time, compared with 50% in the Netherlands. However, working in a family of four or six months would not be ideal for mothers with small children.
It would also take time to deal with family-related activities, and the rigidity of working hours for wives and grandparents. The disadvantage is that part-time employees are often not covered by other benefits. In addition, such workers are occasionally excluded from informal relationships, so if you are passionate about the workplace, choose another solution!

We are barely aware of this type of work. In essence, an eight-hour job is filled by two people, and pay and benefits, like work, are split equally between the two. They are also responsible for the tasks they perform and cannot be considered as a form of part-time employment.

Forty years ago, the method of job sharing began to be applied in the United States to women's initiation, who had enough of their "career or dinner" requests, but they were surprised by the fact.
In the following decades, the New Law was transposed into the United Kingdom and then published in Europe. At first, there was a split in local government finances, and by the 1980s, mothers returning to the competitive sector also had the opportunity to fight for themselves. Typically, the division of labor is still the most accepted in the public sphere. In England, 87 percent of public service agencies and 47 percent of private sector organizations allow for job sharing.
In Hungary, the Yuletide Foundation is the first of its kind mother-in-law and consultant, which prepares mothers for job-seeking, and special methods of finding co-workers for employers.

There are some well-tried, working methods that we would be happy to accept at home. But the very conservative and often working attitude of the conservative does not help the spread. It is often the case that employers do not comply with the law, and if we are oblivious to our rights, we may lose our existing status.
Hungarian law, if only for thirty days, is defensive returning pregnant women to work, however, some of the companies scold the paragraphs or take advantage of employee inefficiency. This was also the case with Marta. He worked on finance for five years. After the birth of her two daughters, she spent six years "at home" - during which time she graduated as a second graduate and learned a third foreign language at intermediate level.
When the younger child became a high school student, he logged into his workplace as a returning employee. First, in the HR department, he was told that the job was full, but they were looking for similar jobs at the company. However, after a week or two, it turned out that there was no vacancy, at least for Martha. The friendly staff member on the telephone offered a friendly advisor to terminate the employment contract by mutual agreement, as the child was "undesirable" in this position.
Mārta accepted the proposal and left the address, receiving some disqualification, but she was unfamiliar with her for years, because her position was not unwelcome by her children. He is doing a completely different job than before, and his pay is much lower than before.

How next?

Well, we're not really in a good position ... But more and more are coming to our aid.

The kids got a room in the newly refurbished school bookstore where they still have a lot of free games, but you can taste the atmosphere of the party. I'd love to stay home with my baby for three years, but unfortunately for financial reasons we can't afford it. I do not consider my childhood work, where I would have a night shift, compatible with being with a small child, so I also want to do some training in preparing for a little job during GYED.
I plan to be an Assistant Assistant after two years in an adult position. Order times will be easier to reconcile with the needs of my child and family.
